WHAT WE DO

We do species-specific field surveys for many species: bats, birds, snakes, mussels, and plants, just to name a few.  Click on the links to get more detailed information about our expertise in each area. 

We do wetland studies: delineations, functional value assessments, mitigation, creation, restoration, enhancement, monitoring, and permitting (ACOE 404 and 10, and 401 state water quality certification). 

We do regulatory compliance and document preparation:  NEPA (Environmental Impact Statement, Environmental Assessment, Categorical Exclusion), ESA (Biological Assessment, Habitat Conservation Plan), FERC 7(c) Resource Reports, Vegetation Management Plans, and Comprehensive Conservation Plans.

Who do we complete these services for?  Historically, most projects have been for natural gas, coal mining, and electrical generation and transmission facilities; however, we are increasingly providing support for wind power facilities.  We have also completed projects for residential and commercial developers and the transportation industry.  Finally, because of our unique qualifications, we are also sometimes hired to assist state and/or federal resource agencies with surveys or regulatory documentation.
